Freya was my first showdog and my practise poodle
for the wonders of show grooming. Freya had a late start to her show
career, she was shown in her first Championship show just after her
2nd birthday. She achieved her Australian Champion title within 10
months of her first Championship show. She has produced 3 Australian
Champions, her son Vegas is now a Grand Champion, and one Champion
grand daughter with a grandson obtaining his CD title. Now retired
from the showring but may occasionally return as a veteran.
She has had several modelling assignments, even being dyed pink for
the L'Oreal "Beautiful Girls" Fashion parade in 2008.
Freya has an amazing gentle and friendly temperament. She loves to
see young children and 'shake paw' with them. Freya had her first
Obedience trial 21/10/06, earning a score of 93 and first pass for
CCD. She gained her final CCD pass 23/9/07 which makes her our first
dog with conformation and obedience titles.
Freya gained her final pass for her Novice Obedience Title (CD) 17/5/2009
Freya is now a VCA certified Pets as Therapy dog..
Freya returned to the showring 7/8/09 winning Best Neuter in Show at
Murray Valley KC
